An all-female all-star collective of contemporary jazz. Every single member of ARTEMIS is a highly skilled musician and has developed a very distinct voice on their respective instrument, inspired by the great jazz icons.
ARTEMIS released their critically acclaimed, self-titled debut album on Blue Note in 2020. Founding members of the group were pianist, composer and musical director Renee Rosnes, trumpeter Ingrid Jensen, bassist Noriko Ueda, and drummer Allison Miller; the collective saw the addition of Nicole Glover on tenor saxophone and Alexa Tarantino on alto saxophone, soprano saxophone, and flute, for their sophomore album “In Real Time” (Blue Note, 2023).
